Yes starting your own online business from scratch can be a daunting task, but that is the reason why only a small percentage of people actually take the plunge. Step 1: Make your Ideas a Reality

I know this first step is no shocker to anyone, but you need to come up with a great idea that is tangible and in-demand. I always say the best business ideas solve a problem and disrupt the industry or marketplace you place it in. The landscape of buying and selling online has changed with Covid; this horrible pandemic has forced companies to rely on online sales and if they didn't make the transition, they would have to close up shop. So why am I even bringing this up? Well, its your time to be a part of the solution and give people a business that they can benefit from your products and ideas. Once you come up with this idea, write a business plan. So many people skip this step when creating an online business; do NOT skip this step. You can't write a good book without an outline or plan, the same goes for a business; trust me when I tell you, doing this right takes time and you will want something to refer to. Also, you never know if this business will need funding etc..you can't get that without a Business Plan!

Tip: Write down your ideas! Brainstorm problems that you deal with everyday on one side of the page, and possible product or service ideas that could fix that problem. Now you don't have to be Elon Musk here and come up with the next Electric Car here; keep it simple at first. This exercise is to get the brain going and I guarantee it morphs into something usable. Run your ideas by someone you trust (Trust being the important word here) and see what their reactions are.

Step 2: Make it Legit

There are two trains of thought when it comes to building an online business, one is to build it first then get your business licenses after or obviously, once you understand what it's going to be and the business plan is solid, get the necessary licenses to register and make your business legit in your state. Now, some people try to do this on their own, however, I would highly suggest you get professional help; it is not as expensive as you think.
